How Much Sleep is Good For Your Baby?
How much sleep does your child get? On average, your baby should sleep for at least 13 to 14 hours every day until 2 years. In the first two months, it is normal for the new-born to get 15 to 16 hours of sleep. Usually, babies sleep 2 -3 hours in daylight with one or two naps. Don't worry if your baby sleeps for multiple hours during the day. Such a tendency is not uncommon during the first couple of months. Getting sufficient sleep is important; counting the number of hours is not. The sleep cycle very much depends on the body chemistry of a baby.
