Baby Bottles - When to Drop the Nipple
Transitioning from the nipple bottles to the cup with a straw seems like a daunting task, but the reality is after 12-14 months the baby is ready to start feeding themselves. It may be cozy to cuddle your baby and let them snack on the plastic bottle with rubber nipple, but similar to sleeping, baby needs to be able to eat at their own pace and know that if they don't eat more is not coming. There are a few hurdles to pass when trying to wean the baby off the parent feeding them the nippled bottle.
